For the answer ...
Answer: B)
An inter-generational community centre
For several years, the Borough of Verdun had been looking for a place where 12-17-year-olds as well as 50-year-olds and over could get together as well as exchange ideas and experiences. When the L’Île-des-Sœurs service station closed in 2008, the Borough of Verdun took steps to rent the building and to set up an inter-generational community centre there. After decontaminating the soil and following work to restore and rehabilitate the building, La Station intergenerational centre opened in January 2012 to welcome Verdunites there. Since then, it has been offering cultural, educational, sports, information and prevention activities for the two age groups that it serves.
